Motivational Interactions

2 Day Foundational Program plus follow-up group learning sessions.

Motivational Interactions workshop is designed to be deeply human-centred, while also aligning with commercial and enterprise needs. The earning experience is built around the compensable space, with consideration of organisational context and application.

Motivational Interactions (MI) is based on the principles of Motivational Interviewing and the Transtheoretical Model of Behaviour Change – approaches widely recognised for their effectiveness in case management. MI addresses barriers and ambivalence to change while building motivation – critical factors in achieving positive client outcomes. This collaborative, person-centred communication style strengthens a person’s motivation and commitment to specific goals by exploring and eliciting behaviour change.
