AP Psychology & Consulting Services, a leading authority on psychological health and safety in the workplace, is celebrating another 12-month partnership with icare Risk Education eXpress (REX). Together, we have made a significant impact in managing psychological risks, fostering healthy and safe workplaces, and promoting mental health across several NSW Government agencies.
Within the last year, AP Psychology & Consulting Services has delivered 16 training sessions to 257 REX participants, empowering agency employees through transformative learning experiences. The outcomes encompassed improved comprehension and handling of workplace psychological risks, enhanced workplace mental health recognition, and the formulation of practical leadership strategies for risk management.

Reflecting on the partnership’s positive impact, satisfaction among participants has been recorded at an impressive 97% satisfaction. This is attributed to the tailored training programs that have meaningfully contributed to strengthening psychological risk management practices across the board.
For one agency, the ‘Leading with Psychological Safety’ program has significantly influenced the establishment of healthier and safer working environments, with participants acquiring vital frameworks to support the management of psychosocial risks within their teams.
Staff from another agency, often grappling with demanding and traumatic situations, have shown resilience built through programs designed to support mental health. Feedback from these programs has been resoundingly positive, with staff members crediting the training for providing effective strategies to manage mental health-related challenges.
